La Mesma - Indi Gavi del Comune di Gavi 2022 (750ml)
La Mesma's 'INDI' is a flagship wine from the Monterotondi Hillside Vineyard in Gavi, Southern Piedmont. Although it cannot be called Gavi di Gavi anymore, it is made from over 30-year-old vines and uses indigenous yeast to create this cuvee. Started as a weekend project, La Mesma is now a certified organic estate that produces fantastic Cortese wines within the Gavi appellation.
The INDI is a great value, showcasing the complexities that good Gavi can achieve with its rich fruit and beautiful aromatics, complemented by an energetic texture of acid and a long finish. This wine is full of personality and a must-try for any wine enthusiast.
