An expressive rosé comprised of Nebbiolo, Barbera, with touch of Dolcetto from the Barolo region. lightly botanical with soft accents of rose and blossom greet the nose, followed by lush red fruits akin too pomegranate, ripe strawberry, tart red cherry, and gooseberry. The pleasant dryness, crisp minerality, and swinging acidity is sure to quench the thirst and pairs great with fresh fruit and cheese platters, or anything you can slap on the grill. KJ

Rosabella is our rosé de saignée. The early picking and a gentle maceration express the grapes aromatics in a fragrant, translucent style. This is a seasonal, limited production that shows a surprising capacity of evolution. 2020 Rosabella is floral on the nose, with roses, pomegranate and cherry and shows a mineral imprint in the mouthfeel.
2020 is a truly remarkable vintage and one of the longest of the decade. It started off with an anticipated bud break and slowed down throughout spring and summer, resulting in a late harvest. An abundant flowering, from May 12th, set the stage for perfumy, aerial and red-tone dominated wines. Numerous rainfalls, well into July, resulted in a less regular fruit set, much more work in the vineyards, but also milder temperatures, leading to an estimated vegetative cycle of 213 days. Great aromatics, varietal authenticity and gorgeous tannins are the signatures of 2020. (from the producer)
