Vina Real Rosado 2024 is a vibrant and refreshing rose from the esteemed Rioja Alavesa region of Spain. This wine is crafted from a blend of carefully selected Viura (70%), Tempranillo, and Garnacha grapes sourced from vineyards with an average age of 8 to 15 years, situated in Elciego and Laguardia. These vineyards benefit from fresh, clayey soils and diverse sun exposures, contributing to the wine's balanced character. The winemaking process prioritizes preserving the primary fruit aromas and achieving a moderate alcohol content with refreshing acidity. The harvested grapes undergo a brief maceration period in stainless steel tanks before gravity aeration is employed to extract the must, avoiding harsh mechanical pressing. This delicate juice is then fermented slowly at a controlled temperature of around 16°C for 20 to 25 days. Following fermentation, the wine is clarified and filtered, ready to be bottled.
This meticulous approach results in a rose that embodies the essence of Rioja Alavesa, showcasing the region's dedication to quality and the unique expression of its traditional grape varieties. It has a pale pink color, floral and red fruit aromas, and a balanced, fresh flavor, ideal for pairing with salads, pasta, and vegetables.
