Vina Real Crianza 2019 is a distinguished red wine that embodies the rich winemaking heritage of the Rioja Alavesa region. Crafted with care, the grapes for this Crianza are sourced from the esteemed Laguardia vineyard and select long-term partner growers in Alava. This close relationship ensures consistent quality and a deep connection to the land.
Following harvest, the destemmed grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The temperature is carefully controlled to preserve the fresh fruit character, ranging from 26 to 28°C. Malolactic fermentation softens the wine before it is moved to a balanced combination of French and American oak barrels. Here, the wine ages gracefully for 13 to 14 months. To further enhance its development, the wine is racked every five to six months, promoting clarity and optimal integration of flavors.
