The 2022 vintage opens with a symphony of bright, crunchy flavors, thanks in part to the carbonic maceration of half the fruit. Aromas of cranberry and briary fruit mingle with hints of saddle leather, warm spice, dried herbs, and wild fennel. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and incredibly fresh, with a fine chalky texture and vibrant acidity. Spicy flavors of blood orange and peppercorn are complemented by the sweetness of fresh strawberry, creating a complex and layered experience reminiscent of cru Beaujolais.

The nose offers scents of cranberry and briary fruit with accents of saddle leather, Old Spice, dried herbs and wild fennel. The light-bodied palate offers spicy flavors supported by chalky tannins and shimmery acidity, and it has a long finish with alluring layers of spice and floral perfume. Reminiscent of cru Beaujolais, it's delightfully easy to drink!
