Crafted in Kentucky, this high-rye bourbon features a mash bill of 51% corn, 39% rye, and 10% malted barley. Aged exclusively in seasoned and toasted new #4 char American white oak barrels, it achieves a deep, layered character. Bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof) and non-chill filtered, this bourbon retains its full flavor profile, free of additives.
Aromas of leather, pipe tobacco, and rich oak immediately present themselves, followed by baked fruit notes of blackberries, Dutch berry pie, and caramelized orange peel. A lingering cinnamon and pepper note, along with rich dark cocoa and cherries, unfolds as the glass opens, revealing complex vanilla, caramel, and butterscotch. The palate is rich and full-flavored, with nicely structured tannins and a creamy, lightly spiced mouthfeel.
