A full-bodied gin with a delicate infusion of Angostura bitters. The bitters add a wonderful herbal note that enhance and complement the botanicals. History tidbit - The tradition of blending gin with bitters was first created by the British Royal Navy to balance out sweet and dry gins and to help cure sea sickness. ‘Pink’ gin became one of the most popular ways the English drank gin in the 1800’s.
Tasting Notes: Smooth, refreshing and floral with a gentle note of spiced bitters. Great with tonic or club soda, in a Negroni or really simple with grapefruit seltzer and squeeze of lime.
Made in traditional pot stills in the heart of London at Thames Distillery by 8th generation master distiller, Charles Maxwell. Using (8) classic botanicals that have become the foundation for a superb London Dry style - Juniper, Star Anise, Coriander, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, Seville Orange, Angelica and Sicilian Lemon.
