Vintages that are older than 50 years benefit from the greatest care by the Cellar Master. In order to ensure the best balance for these prodigiously old brandies, they are stored in « dames-jeannes », medium glass contents that guarantee a low and highly controlled evolution of these bas armagnacs. The oldest Collection vintages rest in a small and well-kept ageing cellar called the « Paradis » (Paradise in French), a real treasure-trove of vintage armagnac. Because of the Collection vintages scarcity, those rarest armagnacs are offered in smaller 50cl bottles. The emblem of Laubade is sealed on an antique bottle, that is then protected in a handcrafted box, especially made to welcome these treasure eaux-de-vie.
A Collection bottle is merely an exclusivity, to be shared for a rare and unique occasion. (from the producer)
