Bottled at the end of 2015, the NV Bual 10 Year Old comes from the southwest part of the island and contains around 90 to 100 grams per liter of residual sugar. It has a delightful, well defined nose with dried quince, smoked walnut and a touch of dry straw, demonstrating impressive intensity but maintaining a sense of refinement. The palate is medium-bodied with honey, marjoram, cloves and white pepper on the entry. This has good weight in the mouth and fine tension, a generous pinch of black pepper towards the finish keeping everything lively. This is a satisfying, delicious Bual to enjoy over the next decade.
